An operations brain for the processing floor

Terrantic reads the instruments already on your lines, tracks yield in real time, and gives operators clear alerts while action can still change the outcome.

Three jobs Terrantic handles while operators run the floor

Read-only connections use the instruments already in place. No new hardware is needed for the pilot.

Line yield tracking

A live yield baseline for every line

Terrantic reads weight sensors, conveyor speed monitors, and optical sorter outputs together. Historical line data establishes each line's yield baseline. From there, Terrantic tracks live deviation and shows where performance is slipping before the shift ends.

  • Weight per unit against target by SKU
  • Conveyor rate compared with planned capacity
  • Optical sorter rejects tracked by line

Reroute intelligence

A clear signal when input should move elsewhere

When one line loses ground, Terrantic checks spare capacity on nearby lines and brings forward a reroute recommendation. Operators get the reasoning and supporting data in plain language, rather than having to decode a dashboard.

  • Live spare-capacity comparison across lines
  • Recommendation backed by yield data
  • Reroute acknowledgment recorded by shift

Shift debrief reports

A factual shift summary, ready when the shift closes

At shift close, Terrantic creates a report covering yield, line deviations, and saved reroute decisions. The next debrief starts with recorded operating facts, not a reconstruction from memory.

  • Yield change by line versus target
  • Cold room transitions and exposure windows
  • Reroute decisions logged with impact

Active floor in one view

The line monitor gives supervisors a quick read on yield status across every active processing line.

Three signals, each tied to a different decision

Terrantic sorts alerts by impact, so operators know what needs attention and which action the signal calls for.

Yield

Throughput deviation

Yield on the current SKU has fallen below its configured threshold. Terrantic checks capacity on other lines and adds a reroute recommendation when one is available.

Line B2 at 58% of target, spinach 40 lb bags. Line A1 has 18% spare capacity.
Capacity

Upstream surge detected

Incoming product is arriving faster than the line can process it. Terrantic marks the growing backlog and identifies downstream lines with room to take more.

Line A2 at 22% above planned rate. Backlog building at pre-sort buffer.
Cold chain

Temperature transition window

Terrantic flags product entering or leaving cold storage outside transition limits, then logs exposure time and product ID for the shift report.

Data handshake to live monitoring in under two weeks

The rollout follows a fixed sequence built around plant schedules, with no production downtime.

1
Day 1

Data handshake

We verify read-only OPC-UA or direct sensor API access. No write permissions. IT review takes half a day.

2
Days 2-4

Baseline calibration

Terrantic ingests 48-72 hours of historical line data, then sets baselines by line and SKU. Your team approves the thresholds.

3
Days 5-7

Alert routing setup

We route each alert to its assigned operators and existing plant terminals. No new hardware here.

4
Days 8-10

Supervised live run

Live monitoring runs during shifts with your customer operations contact available. We tune thresholds from shift feedback.

5
Day 11+

Handoff to operations

Your floor team takes over daily use. Terrantic remains available for threshold questions and responds within 4 business hours.
